Benazir Bhutto Murder Case: Verdict Announced After 9 Years


The special anti-terrorist court has finally announced its verdict in Benazir Bhutto Murder Case after 9 long years of prosecution. 

The court reported lack of evidence against five men, who were accused of having links with Taliban.

Two cops, including former DIG Police, were sentenced to 17 years in Jail for negligence in preventing the murder.

The court also declared Former President, Pervaiz Musharraf a fugitive in this case.

Benazir Bhutto was killed in a gun and suicide attack during a rally being conducted in Liaquat Bagh, Rawalpindi.

She was one of the most prominent politicians of that time in Pakistan, having the honor of serving Pakistan twice as Prime Minister.
