Breaking News – Riyadh (NEWZ247) Saudi Arabia Crown Prince on Sunday called the first high-level meeting of a Saudi-led coalition of Muslim nations against terrorism, asserting that rebels will no longer “discolor our beautiful religion.”
Prince Mohammed’s words come as the Islamic State group, which flashed the creation of the coalition has been driven out of Iraq and lost its self-described capital in Syria.
Though the coalition doesn’t include Syria, Iran or Iraq, while member nation Qatar sent no one to attend the Riyadh meeting amid a diplomatic standoff between Doha and 4 Arab nations led by the empire.
Speaking the defense ministers and high offices the crown prince said that Sunday’s meeting sends “a strong signal that we are going to work collected and coordinate together to support each other.”
“The biggest hazard of this terrorism and extremism is the ruining of our beloved religion’s reputation. We will not tolerate this to happen,” said the royal who has been the driving force behind this alliance.
“Own word we start the search of terrorism and we see its collapse in many facets around the world particularly in Muslim countries. We will linger to fight it until we see its rout.”
The crown prince also prevailing his condolences to Egypt which grieved an attack on Friday by Islamic activists on a mosque in northern Sinai that killed 305 people.
“This is indeed a painful event and it is a recurring and strong reminder the dangers of this terrorism,” he said.
“A number of our member countries are under incredible pressure while fighting well well-known terrorist organizations due to capacity shortages of their armed forces and law enforcement agencies,” said Pakistan’s former army chief and the coalition’s military commander, Gen Raheel Sharif, at the meeting.
