TRUMP TOUCHES BASE IN SAUDI ARABIA ON FIRST REMOTE VISIT

US President Donald Trump has touched base in Saudi Arabia on his first remote expedition since getting to be president.

His eight-day trek will likewise take in Israel, the Palestinian regions, Brussels, the Vatican, and Sicily.

It comes as Mr Trump confronts turmoil at home after his sacking of FBI executive James Comey.

He has firmly condemned the choice to select a unique advice to regulate an investigation into claimed Russian impact on the US decision.

The excursion takes in the capitals of the three noteworthy monotheistic religions – Islam, Judaism and Christianity.

Hours before Mr Trump’s landing, Saudi air guard units said they had cut down a rocket south of the capital, Riyadh, that was terminated from Yemen by Houthi rebels.
