Trump Once Again Blames Both Sides For Violence In Virginia

NEW YORK: President of United States, Donald Trump has considered both sides equally responsible, the left and right wing extremists for reigniting the violence in a rally in Virginia.

Looking angry and frustrated, Donald Trump said that his initial reaction was based on the information he had at the time and that both sides are to be blamed for everything that happened.

He said, ‘You had a group on one side that was bad, and you had a group on the other side that was also very violent. And nobody wants to say that, but I’ll say it right now.’

‘Not all of those people were neo-Nazis, believe me. Not all of those people were white supremacists by any stretch,’ Trump said.

He further elaborated, ‘There was a group on this side. You can call them the left … that came violently attacking the other group. So you can say what you want, but that’s the way it is.’

The violence erupted on Saturday when white nationalists gathered in Charlottesville for ‘Unite The Right’ rally to protest against the removal of a statue of Robert E.Lee, who was Commander of Pro Slavery Confederate Army during U.S Civil War.

Many of the protesters were seen carrying shields, sticks, and firearms. Some of them wore helmets too. The counter-protesters were also wearing helmets and carrying firearms, sticks, and shields.

The initial clash took in small streets until suddenly a car broke into the rally opponents, killing a young lady and injuring another 19 protesters.

A 20-year old man, James Field, suspected to be the resident of Ohio was charged with the murder.

Two officers of the local state police were also killed on the same day in a helicopter crash that was on duty as crowd-control operations operatives.

Trump for the first time on Saturday, denounced hatred ‘on many sides’. This comment drove him a lot of criticism for not condemning the violent acts of the white extremists.
