Breaking News – Islamabad (NEWZ247) Chief justice of Pakistan today (16-11-17) rejected former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s appeal to the SC searching for the clubbing collectively of 3 corruption references against him through NAB.
Sharif had in advance petitioned the apex courtroom regarding the same matter but the petition changed into rejected via the Supreme Court registrar.
The former Prime Minister sooner or later appealed against the registrar’s decision, saying that submitting three separate references became “unlawful, and violates the regulation and the charter, except being violated of his fundamental rights”.
He stated the AC had the authority to retain the lawsuits after merging the references, including that under the regulation, an accused could not be punished for the same crime more than one instances.
Justice Nisar upheld the registrar’s decision and refused to reserve NAB to club the references together.
